This is it! I'm ready to meet you mom and dad - lets go to the hospital and get this going! Since I stopped growing and mom's fluid dropped below 5 (whatever that means!) the Doc said I've got to come out - NOW! So mom is getting induced. This went down at 9am - and Dad kept a journal from this point on - here's the recap:
9am: Sonogram at Spring street OBGYN
10:05am: Arrive at NYU Hospital and checked in
10:45am: IV installed and blood drawn
12:30pm: Removed the monitors because Doc was tied up with several other deliveries
12:45pm: Scrabble game (is Toastie a word?)
1:00pm: Dr. Dodson comes by - we are 3cm dilated - Potosin here we come!
1:15pm: Potosin and electrolytes in IV
2:15pm: Water popped and Potosin increased
3:45pm: Epidural in (Grey's Anatomy)
4:20pm: 8cm dilated
4:30pm: 9cm dilated - Potosin turned down...
4:40pm: Dr. and nurses rush in - START PUSHING
5:05pm: IT'S A BOY!!!
