Today was AWESOME!!!! Ok - check this out...I slept 6 hours straight last night! Can you believe that? Mom and Dad can't! weeeeeeeee! And then...woke up and Mom starting cooking for my first Thanksgiving. The apartment smelled SO good! YUM!
Here are a few shots from the festivities today...and I've also posted pictures on Snapfish - feel free to check em out. http://www1.snapfish.com/thumbnailshare/AlbumID=1713474017/a=2304811_2304811/otsc=SHR/otsi=SALBlink/COBRAND_NAME=snapfish/
Of course Mom was insanely prepared and had a super tight schedule typed up so she didn't miss a beat. By the time Shelly, Stu and the B's (Gitty and Swanna) arrived, Mom was pretty much set and had all of the sides done, turkey in the oven and the appies out and ready for football noshing.
Dinner was sick. I think it was Mom's best as an honor to me being at the table (in my stroller) for the first time. Good job Ma. The menu was as follows for those of you interested -
Football time:
Assorted cheese and ciabata
Stuffed mushrooms
Dinner:
Roast turkey with citrus and herbs
Hot sausage and chestnut stuffing
Cheesy scalloped potatoes
Corn casserole
