Mom works at J. Crew in the production department for Crewcuts the most adorable children's line in the world! This means she has to liaise with agents oversees to get the product made. The agents who handle the bulk of her business are located in Hong Kong. Well, this week is Chinese New year - the year of the Tiger. So they are all shut down for the week and their factories will be shut down for the rest of the month. Mom had it pretty easy in the office today and was able to get away for an hour to take me to movement class. I was SO excited to be able to hang with her today! We hopped on the subway...and then had a short walk through some huge snowflakes to get to our class!
We met up with Beth and Julian at class....and of course Ma couldn't resist the photo opportunities...I mean - we look like monkeys...literally!
Class was loads of fun today. It all began when I was lying on my tummy and looked up at Mom and she noticed an insanely large boogie hanging from my nose. I don't know how it got there...but it was sticky and I needed it removed ASAP. So she grabbed it quickly before anyone could see and laugh at me and disposed of it quickly with some baby wipes. Then...there was a mom and son next to us and she admired my cuteness while asking my Mom "how old is your son? 2 months"? Mom laughed and said "oh no, he's 4 months, he's just a little man". The festivities continued as I got to dance around class with some other special friends. Lisa and her daughter Lila were in our class today and that was a fantastic surprise for us! Lisa is married to a banker named Josh. Josh does work with Papa and Mom and Pop had dinner with them back when I was a sunflower seed and they couldn't release the news of my existence yet...well at the same time...Lisa was carrying Lila and Jamison and was on the same top secret mission! Now we're all on the other side and today I got to make googly eyes at cute little Lila all class long. The class ended with a bang when Dionne blew bubbles on my face. Though the bubbles popped and left goo on my head, I loved it.
After work Mom's friends from J.Crew came over for a visit. I sat quietly on Mom's lap while the girls gossiped away and drank wine and ate cheese. I was such a good boy - as always.
Off to bed I have gone, sweet dreams my blog following friends. Have a good week!
