Last night I got a special treat...Grandma Shelly slept over! Pillow fight! We had a great night's sleep and when we woke up I ate breakfast and then we were on the road to Rockville, MD to visit Grandma Shelly's mother, Papa's Grandmother, MY BUBBE Betty! It took us 4 hours to get there. As usual, I slept the entire way. When we arrived I was ready to eat. So we got up to Bubbe's and I chowed down. Bubbe Betty got me a book and blocks with numbers on them. I put them right into my mouth while Mom tried to teach me how to count to 3.
Aunt Anita and Uncle Steve also joined us. I was showing them how I laugh, play and sit up with a bit of Mom's help. We took Bubbe out to lunch at her local diner. I took a snooze while the big people ate their lunch. Then we went back to Bubbe's place and sat outside. It was a gorgeous day and I had a ball flirting with all of the senior ladies who were hanging around ooohing and aahhing at me. We went back upstairs before heading out so we could sing an early happy birthday to Bubbe. She made a wish and blew out her candle with a huge smile on her face.
Around 4pm we hit the road and went back to the city. It was a long day but totally worth it. I love my Bubbe Betty and am so glad I finally got to meet her! On the way home I made out with Sofie. What? Don't you think she's pretty?
