So cliche...

Whenever someone stops to marvel at how cute I am and how lucky Mom is to have me they say "enjoy this time because it flies by so fast".  Isn't that so cliche?  Well, want to know a secret?  It's 100% true!  The time flies so fast and there is nothing you can do to slow it down.  I turned 6 months old today.  I cannot believe how fast I'm growing up!  Mom is starting to panic...
We started our morning with a really nice walk around the neighborhood.  President Obama was giving a speech at the Cooper Union at 11am and that's right across the street from our apartment.  We were determined to bump into him.  Unfortunately it didn't pan out but Mom and I still had a nice time together on our hunt.  We took a stroll over to Grey Dog and Mom had a nice breakfast while I hung out and studied all of the people walking in and out.  When we got home I napped for a bit and then woke up and watched our pal Betsy Brown Braun (BBB) on the Today show.  BBB is Ben's mom.  You all know Ben. Mom has been close with BBB for years now and she's been dying to meet me.  I didn't realize BBB was a celeb until I saw her being interviewd by Al Roker this morning.  What do you mean this lady is coming to our house ma?  This is so cool!  BBB just released her second book called Your not the boss of me and was here promoting it.  Mom has a lot of reading to and will be starting in Aruba this May.  Anyhow, BBB arrived and was so cute!  I loved hanging out with her!  We had such a fab day together.  We started with a walk to the Verizon store down the street where BBB needed help with her ringer.  The gal fixed it in no time and then we had her snap some shots and we left.
Onward to Union Square where we went to the Barns and Noble there so Ma could support BBB and buy her book...
We continued on towards 5th Avenue and hit up the City Bakery for a little lunch.  Betsy treated mom to her meal while I slept and woke up for the last few minutes when I got to sit on BBB's lap and spend a little more time together before she had to head out.  Thanks so much for visiting with me today BBB!  You rock and I cannot wait to see you in June for Ben and Heather's wedding!
I was pooped from a jam packed week.  I fell asleep after I ate at 3 and was out for quite some time!  When I woke up...there was a tall, pretty girl standing over me.  Um, hello...who the heck are you?  It was Mom's old pal from work, Jessica.  She came over to babysit while mom and dad - no brace yourselves - went to a preschool applications seminar.  Are you kidding me?  Don't even go there...welcome to Manhattan baby!
