A French fry...for a fly lil guy

Today was the best day in Aruba yet.  Let me recap the highlights for you:
6:49am:  Peeked my head up from my crib looking for AD (aunt Debi).
8:00am:  Mom and AD went to Salt & Pepper, a restaurant across the street for breakfast.  This place was a gold mine.  There were tons of chuchkas on the table for me to grab at, for example salt and pepper shakers shaped like apples - I was climbing the table to get at them...but Ma put a stop to that quickly.  Instead...I got a pancake!  Bring it on Ma - I love it!
9:00am:  We hit the pool.  Mom and AD putzed around in the morning...again...and missed out on getting prime seating.  Even though it's low season we seemed to be stuck with seats that were sub par every day!  Ladies...seriously...you're better then that!  I got my swim on for a little while...having some fun by the waterfalls which I really love.
11:00am:  Time to eat.   Pretty standard...oatmeal + peach + banana.  What wasn't standard was my exhaustion.  I couldn't make it past the last spoon.  I was out cold.  Didn't even have my bottle.
12:00pm:  Out of no where, the parrots start screaming so loud you would have thought they were being chased by a man with a BB gun.  Not sure what the issue was, but my Mom and AD dealt with the bird situation while I slept through the entire episode.
12:30pm:  Lunch on the ocean in a bar where they were playing great music.  Apparently a cruise ship had just docked and the restaurant was flooded with cruisers so our food took a little while to arrive.  AD made sure to get the watier moving his butt on getting our food...I told her...he's probably now wiping your sammies on his butt since you're pestering him.  Remember that scene from the movie Roadtrip? Ew, gross.  Let's move on.  Since I had just woken up from a long nap I was raring to go and spent a good half hour, while waiting for Ma and AD's food, dancing.  Everyone was watching me...so impressed with my baby fly moves.  They were playing some great techno and reggae.  Ya mon.  No woman no cry...
1:00pm:  The food finally arrived...ready for this?  I had a French Fry!  My first!  And OMG - it was amazing!!  Let's stick those in the blender when we get home Mom...
2:00pm:  We hit the ocean.  We took a long walk along the beach to satisfy AD's need to find clear water.  She believed that the Riu Palace Hotel scopes out their spot on the beach and so they have the clearest water.  Well she wasn't entirely wrong.  The sand by their beach was pretty darn smooth!  Nice work AD.  Nice work.  Mom and AD swam me around while singing weird songs...how did I get here with these 2 nut bars?  Seriously?  Who let them loose?
2:45pm:  We walked back to our seats.  On the walk I passed out on Mom.  She's so cozy.  I took a good nap and missed mocktail hour.  Shoot.  I got stuck with a bottle when I woke up.  B-O-R-I-N-G!
4:30pm:  Took a bath and got dressed and ready for dinner.  While AD was getting ready I flew across the floor and crawled right into the bathroom to find her...I don't like when she leaves me.  When she was done getting ready she took over watching me so Ma could get ready.  Ready, set ACTION!  We had a photo shoot...
6:00pm:  We skype with Boobie and I start to fall asleep.  I was just so pooped from the week...it really built up.  So Ma fed me while we talked.  After I polished off my bowl of food just barely staying awake to finish, I had a sip of my bottle and hit the hay.  Ma put me down in my carseat and off to dinner we went.
7:30pm:  Ma and AD got to enjoy yet another sangria...and a fabulous dinner at Madame Janette's.  One of Ma's favorite restaurants in Aruba.  I was a champ.  Slept like a baby, cute as a button.
8:59pm:  We got off the elevator in the hotel and mom RAN to the room to get the TV turned on in time for the Modern Family season finale.  What the hell is going on?  I woke up wondering why I was running a marathon in my stroller.  I got a diaper change and into my jammies.  Then a commercial came on and we called Papa on Skype to say hi.  I miss papa so much...but right now only have eyes for AD.  I couldn't stop laughing at her.
9:30pm:  Ma put me down to sleep.  I didn't make a peep.  Out for the night. Till tomorrow...
