We went to Mom's office today. She's going back to work in one week and I asked her to bring me in so I could meet all of her colleagues and see where she's going to be every day when she leaves me! So we took a walk over to Grey Dog and picked up lunch for the team. Then we head over to the office and started the tour! Firstly, the security guard at the front of the building has been obsessed with Mom from the start of her pregnancy. He was always very fascinated by her wearing 4" heals while carrying a huge load on her belly. He asks Mom's boss about her every day...so I'm sure you can imagine his excitement when we walked into the lobby!
Once we got upstairs we got to work. Mom put me in her chair at her desk...are those post it notes? I wanted to leave Mom a note...but oh wait...I can't write yet. So instead I just stared at them and then we moved on. I somehow found myself surrounded by woman everywhere I turned! They were really staring at me...not too sure why but I went with it.
I need to give a special shout out to the following people:
Michelle - has been taking care of all of Mom's retail boys business. She is such a good friend and has taken such good care of Mom's department while she's been out taking care of me!
Connie - DIDO! You are amazing. Thank you for taking over all of the kids outlet world for Mom while she's been getting me adjusted to the world. You are the best!
To top our wonderful day off, Mom took me out for dinner with Papa. We had a great meal at a fab new restaurant called Choptank. We picked up canoli's and cookies on the way home at Rocco's bakery (thanks for turning us onto this place Swanna)! It's time for bed now, have a good weekend!
