Boxing Day without the shopping

Today is boxing day. The day after Christmas is called boxing day in Canada - it's like the American black Friday post Thanksgiving.  All of the stores have crazy sales and Canadians go nuts shopping!  Well not us.  We had too many people to visit today!  Talk about schlepping...oy vey.  Let's see...I can hardly remember where my day began!  I had another great night sleep and woke up to a nice feeding and then went back to sleep until it was time to get dressed and ready to go.  We went to pick up Boobie Frieda and were off to Aunty Debi's for a brunch with the boys.  It was so cool meeting Jesse, Cory, Jayme and Chloe (Jay's GF...whose heart I stole when I walked through the door!).  Chloe got me an adorable little outfit - soooo sweet!  I basically spent the next hour being passed around like a hot potato - not kidding - check these pictures out...
I was getting a bit confused and slightly stressed until I got into the hands of Uncle Steve AKA the baby whisperer.  No joke he is so calming.  I just melt in his arms.   Mom and Dad asked Steve if he would consider moving to NYC to be their "Manny".  We need to get Aunt Debi on board for this...I think she could work for Bloomie and call it a day!  She would love NYC even though she says it's too busy for her!  Once Uncle Steve put me to sleep I hung peacefully with Aunt Debi and then with Boobie Frieda AKA the Queen.  Look at her...could you die?  Could she be any cuter?  It's been so incredible spending time with this woman - she is amazing!  I cannot wait till dinner at her place on Tuesday!

After a nice nap I woke up and was ready to move on.  I gave a little scream to let everyone know.  So we got packed up and onward and out we went.  We drove Boobie home and I fell back asleep in the car.  Next stop was the Rosenbergs.  Mom grew up with Lisa and her husband Tony.  They had a baby a few weeks before I was born and I was dying to meet her...Little Olivia AKA Baby O.  16 weeks old and pretty as can be!  It was awesome meeting her!  Please excuse my Mom's hair in these pictures as she had major winter hat head...HA!

After my QT with Baby O we were off again, to Jenn's house.  Another friend of mom's from growing up.  Jenn and her husband Papa Mo have become very good friends of Mom and Dad's over the years...and a special guest star...Jenn's sis Pam was in town!  Pam got me the most incredible duds from ROOTS - an amazing Canadian store that Mom and Dad LOVE and were planning to take me to so I could get some shirts with maple leafs on them!  Well Pam beat us all to it and what a great gift she gave me...so many items and an O Canada book!  I'm such a lucky boy.  What a great night we all had together!  Jenn and Papa Mo have a son named Jake.  He's 2 years old and is a really cool dude!  He has the best toys and guitars!  I can't wait to come back to play with him!  They picked up Steak Pit for us to eat.  Dad had never had the Steak Pit before - they have the best ribs EVER.  He devoured quite a few ribs. Not sure I've ever seen him eat that much before!  What a meal - everyone was quite satisfied and I'm looking forward to it all tomorrow once it's all passed through the mommy blender.

I was pretty worn out by the time we left Jenn's house and got back to the hotel.  Mom fed me and then put on my jammies for bed.  I went down and though I was utterly exhausted I couldn't fall asleep...Mom figured I was just over tired and let me be.  After her nightly pump she went to the kitchen to clean up and on the way over smelled something funky...like rotten peanut butter...could that have been a poo?  Um ya Ma...I'm sitting in it - that's why I can't sleep!  Can you change me please?  She was caught off guard because as you all very well know now...my poos happen weekly on Sundays and it was still Saturday!  Well Sunday's explosion came early this week and man it felt good to get that out!  Post poo I went directly to sleep.  I need to rest up for another fun day tomorrow.
